Another citizen died as a result of police atrocities

As the world seems to become more aware of the civil turmoil that caused countries such as Tunisia to revolt, mainstream media present a blind eye towards what happend at 06.02.2011.
Today it’s not about police in Spain shooting at children with gun balls being ignored by mainstream media, but about a pacifist civil rights activist of the Februari 20th movement in Morocco that got beaten to death by Mohammed VI his armed forces.

Kamal Aamari: A thirty year old, chemist working as a Safi dock worker.
Last Sunday however, he chose to be without name and title.
As a Moroccan, he joined the Feb 20  peace march.
Seven  security officers, used batons to beat Karim in all parts of his  body  leaving fatal bruises, and resulting in a serious hemorrhage of  his  head  and severely injuring his eyes.  Karim let out his last agonizing  scream  on June 2nd at around 2pm before succumbing to his deadly  beatings.
As we are writing this “press release”, the authorities are trying to deny the facts of his death, of the police violence despite outlets such as Al Jazeera already having shown footage.

More remarkable was Abdelmounaim Dilami (CEO Eco Media) his attempt to censor the free press during te Atlantic Radio show.
Kamal Aamari his family is refusing to bury their loved one, they are calling for justice to be served.

The City of Safi is currently mourning his death on the streets.
Whereas this does not bring Kamal back to the living, a strong respons is required from all
of us that love civil liberties, all of us that despise corruption, and all of us that hold a beating heart in the chest. Herefore we call upon our national governments, our media outlets, and ourselves: Let the information be free, spread the news and reinforce the legal preconditions for all these actions flourish once again. Do not let Kamal his sacrifice be to no avail.
